A Complementary and Alternative Medicine Research Conference: Examining the Role of CAM in Health Care: Linking Researchers and Practitioners

This national conference will bring together CAM researchers and practitioners to promote and advance public health and health services research and research capacity building relating to CAM in Australia. Program presentations and workshops include:

  • Exploring the potential role of CAM in healthcare policy, practice and delivery
  • Exploring and promoting an enhanced role for practitioners and early-career researchers in CAM research
  • Developing collaborations between researchers and practitioners to produce findings of benefit and significance for health care practice and policy
  • Promoting qualitative, quantitative and mixed-method research designs to help practitioners and researchers understand issues around CAM use and practice


  • The conference will include plenary addresses, paper presentations, and research capacity building workshops for practitioners and early-career researchers

    Conference Registration for 2 days:
    Early bird (prior to Sept) $120
    After 1st Sept $140
    Full-time student $90 (subsidised by NORPHCAM)
